Compliance Module

The Compliance Module provides operators with the tools to monitor, investigate, and report on incidents impacting service quality, contractual obligations, and regulatory standards.

This module ensures your organisation can confidently meet operational and legal requirements by tracking reportable events, managing student behaviour, and reducing fatigue risks.

Why Compliance Matters

Why Compliance Matters

Protect your people. Protect your performance.

The Compliance Module is more than just a set of registers — it's your frontline defence against risk, non-compliance, and operational gaps.

  • Fatigue Management: Ensure your drivers and operations comply with NHVR fatigue rules, with real-time allocation checks and post-shift breach detection.
  • Breathalyser Integration: Confirm driver fitness for duty with integrated breathalyser checks at the start of every shift.
  • Safety-First Culture: Foster a proactive approach to safety with structured investigations, automated alerts, and built-in accountability.
  • Contract Performance: Maintain a clear audit trail of incidents and resolutions, supporting contract reporting and performance reviews.

Safety starts with compliance — and compliance starts here.

Core Registers & Reporting Tools

Core Registers & Reporting Tools

The Compliance Module includes a suite of purpose-built registers to capture, manage, and respond to events across your operation:

  • Reportable Events: Log operational incidents that must be reported to governing bodies or contract managers, such as late running, missed services, or injuries.
    • Optional automatic emails to Translink (QLD), Transport for NSW or other governing bodies when a reportable event is created, modified or removed.
  • School Code of Conduct: Record and track student behaviour incidents, including investigations and outcomes, in accordance with the 'Code of Conduct for School Students Travelling on Buses'.
  • Lost Property: Maintain a register of lost items reported by passengers or found by staff, supporting return and accountability.
  • Customer Complaints: Capture complaint details and manage the investigation process. Define resolution timeframes, track progress, and receive alerts if deadlines are missed.
  • CCTV Requests: Track internal and external CCTV requests—including those from law enforcement—with complete visibility of request details, access status, and any associated investigation notes.

Fatigue Management

Fatigue Management

The Compliance Module's heart is the Fatigue Management system, designed to help operators comply with the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) fatigue rules.

  • Proactive Job Review: Monitor driver allocations in advance to ensure that job sequences comply with maximum work limits and minimum rest period requirements.
  • Automated Breach Detection: Upon job completion, actual work and break times recorded on the vehicle tablets are assessed. If the work differs from the planned schedule and results in a breach, a fatigue breach event is automatically created.
  • Investigation & Reporting: Breach events can be investigated, documented, and reported, helping to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
  • Always-On Compliance Checks: Driver rosters are continuously assessed to ensure fatigue compliance is maintained at all times—before, during, and after each job.
